We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Business Development Director to lead our growth initiatives in the Northeast Ohio market and beyond. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate industry, hold a track record of successful business development in real estate or a related sector, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:


Market Expansion & Client Acquisition

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base within the commercial real estate sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including developers, lenders, brokers, and lawyers, to establish long-term alliances.


Relationship Management

  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Develop customized solutions based on client needs, providing expertise on commercial title products and services.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility and build connections.


Industry Analysis & Strategic Planning

  • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market shifts.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set annual revenue targets, define KPIs, and adjust strategies based on market conditions.


Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns targeting commercial real estate professionals.
  • Partner with title officers and other team members to ensure seamless client onboarding and support.
  • Collaborate with Ohio’s top title and escrow lawyers who work for our affiliated law firm to stay abreast of market trends and demands.


Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the real estate or title industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Deep understanding of commercial title processes, industry regulations, and key players in the market.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience with Qualia is preferred.

We are seeking a Title and Escrow Officer to help advance our continued growth and continue to position our company as the market leader. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from some of the top subject matter experts in the business.  This position will be based in Omni Title’s downtown Columbus Office in the heart of the Central Business District. 

 

If you have meaningful title and/or escrow experience and you are the type of person who thrives in a high-performance, innovative, and team-oriented atmosphere, then we want to talk with you.  Primary responsibilities for this position include:

- Process transactions

- Prepare closing documents

- Conduct escrows and closings

- Communicate with parties to successfully complete transactions
